As we reach the end of a full and rewarding year, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the progress, celebrations and shared successes that shaped 2025 for VLS. The past twelve months brought steady growth, meaningful conversations and proud moments that strengthened our place within the finance and leasing community.
One of the defining milestones came early in the year as we secured FSQS accreditation. This achievement reaffirmed our commitment to strong security, dependable continuity and high working standards. It also offered clear reassurance to customers as they choose partners they can trust.
Our focus on people and positive change was brought to life on International Women’s Day, when our Operations Director, Linda O’Neil, joined a Qodea panel alongside leaders from Serco and Google. Their discussion explored experiences in male-dominated environments, building confidence, tackling imposter syndrome and creating space for greater gender diversity in tech. Seeing Linda contribute to such an open, honest conversation was a proud moment for all of us.
Throughout the year, the financial sector continued to shift, shaped by the spring and autumn budgets and updates such as the FCA disclosure commission. Our team worked closely with customers to help them navigate these developments, offering clarity and support whenever needed. This ongoing partnership remains core to the service we provide.
We also enjoyed the return of key industry events, including the NACFB Commercial Finance Expo in June. Meeting brokers, lenders and partners face-to-face once again gave us a chance to share insights, listen to challenges and reconnect with the community that drives our work.
Alongside this, our client base continued to grow, and our team reached several important milestones. The energy and commitment shown by colleagues across the business made this progress possible, and we’re grateful for their efforts throughout the year.
We also celebrated achievements within the wider NETSOL group, most notably seeing Co-Founder and President, Naeem Ghauri, named ‘IT Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the PAA Awards 2025. It was a pleasure to mark the occasion together.
Another standout moment came when our Sales and Marketing Director, Paul Slapa, spoke on behalf of his charity, The Unbeatable Eva Foundation at the NACFB Commercial Broker and Commercial Lender Awards. With their support, Paul was able to raise thousands of pounds for the charity, and we couldn’t have been prouder.
Towards the end of the year, we revealed our refreshed website and updated brand, delivered with our partners at Entyce Creative. This wasn’t just a new look; it signalled a step forward in how we present our services and engage with clients and the wider sector. The new site offers clearer pathways, dedicated service pages, an insights hub and a modern, accessible experience across devices.
As we approach our thirtieth year of supporting lenders, brokers and financial organisations, this update reflects both our heritage and our direction for the future.
With a year of progress behind us, we’re looking ahead with confidence. Thank you to our clients, partners and colleagues for your continued support. We look forward to building on this momentum together in 2026.
